María Fernanda Olmedo joined the firm on June 2014 as an associate for practicing on intellectual property matters, among other related fields.
She is a graduate of the Universidad Diego Portales School of Law and was admitted to bar in 2010. The same year she completed post-graduate studies on intellectual property at Universidad de Chile School of Law. In 2011 she attended the Intellectual Property Summer Institute course at the University of New Hampshire, ex Franklin Pierce Law Center.
Formerly, Ms. Olmedo practiced as in-house counsel at the Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de Autor, non-profit trade association regarding the management, protection and promotion of copyright and related rights pertaining to the music industry. She also practiced as an associate in the law firm Barrios Muñoz & Jeanneret where she was responsible of the area of trademarks and domain names.
