Antonio Marinovic

Antonio Marinovic is the funding partner for Marinovic y Cia. He specializes in civil and penal matters relating to copyright and trademark infringement. He was responsible for the design and implementation of anti-piracy campaigns in Chile and in other countries in Latin America. In particular, he has been devoted to anti-piracy campaigns for several industries such as software, theatrical, musical and merchandising for the highest prestige companies throughout the world.

He has assisted the National Congress for the modification of copyright and trademark laws. He has worked in close collaboration with local authorities (customs services, police and government) in the implementation and application of those aspects of the Intellectual Property Rights Agreements that relate to Trade.

Mr. Marinovic graduated from the Universidad de Chile, and is a member of Chile’s Attorneys Bar, of the Latin-American Copyright Institute and of the Inter-American Industrial Property Association.

He is fluent in oral and written English and Spanish.
